Luxury Wedding Venues in Gurgaon — Manesar to Sohna (2026)
The Oberoi, ITC Grand Bharat, Trident, Westin Sohna and the farmhouse belt — a photographer's guide to luxury wedding venues across Gurgaon and the Aravalli stretch.

Gurgaon's wedding venue infrastructure is the strongest in NCR — driven by corporate hospitality money, NRI demand, and the geographic spread from urban Cyber Hub to rural Sohna giving you everything from glass-tower receptions to forest-edge ceremonies. We've shot weddings across all of them. Here's the honest assessment of which luxury venues are worth the spend.
The four Gurgaon wedding venue zones
1. Inner Gurgaon (Sectors 24, 30, 42, 53): Five-star hotel cluster. Best for urban luxury weddings. 2. Manesar (45 min from Delhi): Resort + heritage properties. Best for destination-style without flying. 3. Sohna/Aravalli belt (60–90 min): Resort weddings with natural backdrops. 4. Chhatarpur/farmhouse belt (south Delhi border): Exclusive-use private properties.
Choose by aesthetic, not just by budget — these zones produce visually very different weddings.
Inner Gurgaon — luxury hotels
1. The Oberoi Gurgaon
Best for: Modern luxury, 300–500 guests, international guest lists Photography: Outstanding — floor-to-ceiling glass, rooftop terrace with city skyline, ballroom with neutral palette Approx cost: ₹15,00,000–₹25,00,000
The strongest urban luxury wedding venue in NCR. The rooftop poolside terrace at sunset is one of the most-used couple portrait frames in the industry — and deservedly so. The interior palette (warm beige, dark wood) flatters every outfit colour. Service level is consistently the highest.
2. The Leela Ambience Gurgaon
Best for: Grand-scale weddings (600+ guests), traditional Indian aesthetics Photography: Excellent — heritage-influenced interiors, large ballroom, courtyard for outdoor functions Approx cost: ₹12,00,000–₹20,00,000
Best for large traditional weddings. The interior architecture (high ceilings, classical Indian motifs) handles 800-guest receptions without feeling crowded. The decor team is among the most experienced in NCR for Indian wedding setups.
3. Trident Gurgaon
Best for: Intimate luxury (150–300 guests), couples prioritising privacy Photography: Excellent — boutique scale means more attention per frame, executive lounge for couple portraits Approx cost: ₹10,00,000–₹16,00,000
Smaller, quieter, more intimate. The Trident attracts couples who want a luxury wedding without the spectacle-scale of The Leela. Particularly good for couples with international guests who value service over grandeur.
4. Hyatt Regency Gurgaon (Sector 83)
Best for: Modern luxury, 300–600 guests, mid-premium budget Photography: Above-average — modern interiors, well-lit ballrooms Approx cost: ₹8,00,000–₹14,00,000
Strong value within the luxury tier. The Sector 83 location gives you new infrastructure and slightly more space than the older inner-Gurgaon properties.
5. The Westin Gurgaon (Sector 29)
Best for: Cyber Hub-adjacent weddings, 250–500 guests Photography: Good — modern aesthetic, but limited outdoor space Approx cost: ₹9,00,000–₹14,00,000
Best for corporate-connected weddings (the location is convenient for office-going guests). Outdoor options are limited; this is a primarily indoor wedding venue.
Manesar — destination feel without flying
6. ITC Grand Bharat, Manesar
Best for: Multi-day weddings (300–800 guests), couples wanting destination feel Photography: Exceptional — heritage architecture, multiple outdoor lawns, golf course, room interiors that double as photo sets Approx cost: ₹18,00,000–₹30,00,000
The single best wedding venue within driving distance of Delhi. Two hours from the city but a world apart in aesthetic. Multiple distinct function spaces mean each function looks visually different in the album. The morning haldi on the open lawns is extraordinary. Multi-day weddings here look like destination albums from Udaipur or Jaipur — without the flights.
7. Heritage Village Resort & Spa, Manesar
Best for: Bohemian / village-aesthetic weddings, 200–400 guests Photography: Excellent — sandstone construction, earthy palette, intimate scale Approx cost: ₹6,00,000–₹12,00,000
Strong choice for couples wanting a less formal, more rooted aesthetic. The sandstone walls, low-lit corridors, and open courtyards photograph beautifully — especially in morning and golden-hour light. Half the cost of ITC Grand Bharat with a different but equally strong visual identity.
8. The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa
Best for: Resort weddings (300–500 guests), multi-day with guest accommodation Photography: Excellent — pool-side venues, lawn ceremonies, resort grounds Approx cost: ₹10,00,000–₹18,00,000
90 minutes from Gurgaon. The resort layout (multiple pools, lawns, dining venues) makes it ideal for multi-day weddings where guests stay on-site. Particularly strong for couples whose guests are flying in from across India.
The farmhouse belt — exclusive-use private properties
9. Premium farmhouses, Chhatarpur / Sohna Road / 32nd Avenue
Best for: Couples who want full creative control, 200–600 guests, distinct aesthetic Photography: Variable — depends entirely on the specific property Approx cost: ₹3,00,000–₹8,00,000 (venue rental only — catering, decor, production all separate)
Farmhouse weddings give you a blank canvas. You bring the décor team, catering, lighting, sound — everything. The aesthetic ceiling is unlimited (we've shot extraordinary farmhouse weddings); the production load is also unlimited.
Best farmhouses photographically:
- Aman Bagh, Westend Greens (South Delhi/Gurgaon border): Large lawns, mature trees
- Tijara Fort Palace, Alwar (90 min from Gurgaon): Heritage architecture, full property buyout possible
- The Tikli Bottom, Sohna: Boutique, hill-edge setting
- Various private farmhouses, Sohna Road and 32nd Avenue: Customisable, range widely in quality
10. The Lodhi Hotel & Garden (technically Delhi but commonly chosen by Gurgaon families)
Best for: Luxury garden ceremonies, intimate receptions (150–350 guests) Photography: Outstanding — the pool-side lawn is one of the cleanest wedding frames in Delhi Approx cost: ₹14,00,000–₹22,00,000
Worth listing because so many Gurgaon families book here. The interiors are warm and textured; the outdoor lawn is unmatched. Smaller capacity than the Manesar properties — best for under 350 guests.
Photography considerations specific to Gurgaon venues
1. Pollution affects portrait skies during November–January. The classic golden-hour outdoor portrait might come out hazy. Plan portraits earlier in the wedding season or arrange your shoot for the cleaner months (March–April, October).
2. Ballroom lighting at five-stars is reliable. Unlike many Delhi venues, Gurgaon five-stars have invested in proper event lighting infrastructure — the ceremony will look the way you imagined.
3. Farmhouse weddings need decor coordination 30+ days ahead. Without venue-provided lighting, your decor team becomes responsible for the photographic ambiance. Brief them on photography requirements explicitly.
4. Manesar/Sohna weddings need photographer arrival 90+ minutes earlier. Travel from Delhi/Gurgaon is unpredictable; arrive early to scout and set up before the family arrives.
5. Outdoor functions in Sohna get cold in December–January evenings. Plan haldi/mehendi for morning slots if outdoors; evening outdoor ceremonies require heating setups that affect candid photography.
